Maui Express is a new venture committed to bringing flavorful and healthy (quality) fast-food to the Kansas City market by establishing a Midwest version of very successful Teriyaki Bowl chains operating primarily in the U.S. West and Southwest.  We expect Maui Express to find a welcome and enthusiastic market in Kansas City owing to the fact that the food will be tasty and nutritious, together with being offered at the same convenience, affordability and simplicity guaranteed to rival - and in many cases exceed - even the long-standing, major fast food operations.

Operationally, Teriyaki Bowl is one of the simplest in the restaurant industry.  Although the food is uniquely flavorful and served hot, all menu items are batch-cooked with no cooking-to-order.  It is a less labor-intensive restaurant concept with much simpler cooking and food preparation, requiring less skilled labor.
